Pelo sim pelo não
Vagando pela internet tentando entender mais sobre o referendo, leio absurdos, como "proibam as facas", "automóveis também matam". Matam, claro. Até uma moeda, se engolida, pode matar. Mas matar não é a finalidade desses objetos. A da arma é.

Desisti de ver as campanhas na TV. A manipulação de estatísticas, dos dois lados, é absurda.

As pessoas estão assustadas, revoltadas com esse governo, com os níveis que a violência tem atingido nas cidades médias e grandes.
Moro há quinze anos numa cidade de sete mil habitantes. Nesse tempo todo, me lembro de dois casos de assalto à mão armada sem vítimas fatais, um caso de crime passional com duas mortes (um homicídio e um suicídio), e uma bala perdida numa briga, que atingiu um menino na perna.
É difícil imaginar, apesar de ver pela tv todos os dias, como é morar num Rio de Janeiro, numa São Paulo.
A decisão de votar "sim" ou "não" dos moradores dessas cidades está diretamente ligada ao estado de guerra civil que vivem.

Ainda continuo acreditando que proibir o comércio de armas é o melhor.
E cada vez mais tenho a certeza de que, enquanto não houver uma atuação de fato do estado nas questões que geram a violência (falta de educação, falta de emprego, narcotráfico), esses referendos continuarão sendo, infelizmente, somente perda de tempo.
